Professional Home Inspections

You'll learn much of the story of the house, including the methods of its original construction from House Check. It is especially interesting to find out about the different architectural styles of the exterior and interior details, and to see the various building techniques. During a House Check inspection, we'll also explain where a structure was remodeled or repaired, and you'll understand how the house was lived in and maintained up to the present time.

For sellers and buyers, the House Check final report is a useful punch-list of areas of concern for repair or upgrading, and it identifies critical safety hazards to occupants. Or, you may be relieved to find you won't be facing any major repair costs. During the site visit, feel free to ask as many questions as you like. Each report is also an inventory of the site, structural parts, and construction materials. Types and condition of heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, appliances, and all mechanical systems are itemized in the report, when possible with notes on age or life-expectancy. By accompanying the inspector, you'll get many handy tips on home maintenance and cost-of-repair estimates from House Check.
